
In this challenging restaurant environment, making it to year 2 is something to celebrate! As part of our social and strategy scope for Campsite Brewing Company, we helped them celebrate “Mile 2” of their journey this spring. Campsite Brewing Company captures the experience of gathering at a national park, with vintage buildings restored with perfect attention to detail, a “campground” with 8 fire pits, and full-size trees brought in from the mountains. Set about 25 miles east of downtown Los Angeles, Campsite is both a neighborhood hangout and a worthy regional destination.
Brewery marketing brings together traditional restaurant marketing (great food! seasonal specials!), event marketing (anniversary party! live music! trivia night!), and beer marketing (new release! crazy hops!). And for Campsite Brewing, there’s the added element of destination marketing to encourage the entire area to escape to their campsite for food, beer and good times.
For Campsite’s Mile 2 celebration, we balanced a few goals: drive event attendance, increase brand awareness, and tell the story of the brewery through advertising, social media and other marketing strategies. Bookended with nostalgic photo essays, filled with fun cameos by Campsite’s resident Sasquatch, and with a strategic focus on all three goals, our month-long campaign delivered.
We saw huge engagement on our posts, tons of first-time guests at the party, and shared the story of Campsite with more people than ever before.
