One of the first things people notice when they’re in our office (besides the never-ending construction on Wilshire) is the full bar in our conference room. What can we say except every office should be set up for success with a multitude of spirits at the ready. We even recently found (and promptly purchased) perfect glasses for our weekly sipping.
We love working on brand partnerships with all our clients because it means we get to work with that many more interesting people doing awesome work (and isn’t that what Six Degrees is all about?) And we can all agree there’s no better partnership than one involving booze. When we worked recently with Casamigos one of our afternoon brainstorms turned into crafting the perfect signature cocktail for our day drinking.
Our creative director’s usually game for concocting some food or drink out of the ordinary (he’s still perfecting his Thanksgiving tacos with homemade stuffing tortillas) and this drink was no different. Sure enough, while discussing our brand partnership, our creative director’s eyes lit up and he got up and left … and came back 10 minutes later with limes and Pepsi, cracked open our Casamigos bottle, and made everyone our new fave drink: the Casa Libre.
Casamigos + Pepsi + squeeze of lime (kaffir lime preferred, 7/11 lime acceptable). The perfect cocktail for an afternoon brainstorming the next marketing campaign idea or figuring out the perfect hashtag for a social media contest. We’ve since stocked the fridge with Pepsi so we can be at-the-ready for cocktails whenever the mood strikes. We recommend trying these if you’re in a creative rut, or just in need of a stiff drink…cheers!
Casa Libre Cocktail
1 oz. Casamigos Reposado
3 oz. Pepsi
1 fresh lime (1/4) wedgeDirections: Pour in the Pepsi. Add the Casamigos. Squeeze lime into glass just before serving. Relinquish car keys. Repeat as often as needed.
