The restaurant industry is a small one, and one of our joys is bringing restaurant brands together. Usually, this happens through strategic restaurant marketing partnerships. We connect current clients together or introduce them to a favorite vendor, supplier or partner, and everyone comes out ahead. It happens on social, when we want to take a more behind-the-scenes approach to bringing brands together. And sometimes, the organic path takes us to an unexpected place, which is how we ended up creating a new visual identity system for one of the largest health care staffing companies in the country (which explains why they needed 7 logos!). These restaurant marketing connections are baked into our agency; it’s right there in the name.
But sometimes, even we’re surprised by an unexpected connection. At the opening of Slater’s 50/50 in Torrance last week, we recognized some great looking buns – on the burgers. Our favorite bakery client Cadoro was providing those gorgeous buns, helping ensure that every burger was standing tall and ready for its Instagram moment. A great burger needs a great bun, and these two clients are made for each other.
Valentine’s Day is still a few weeks away, but we just love a happy ending. It may not sound romantic to you, but a good restaurant marketing partnership makes our hearts sing. So if you need us, we’ll be over here seeing what other love connections we can make. Someone must need a great dessert.
