Twisted by Wetzel’s was recently honored as one of the most innovative brands, named a 2023 Creator by the Nation’s Restaurant News. Alongside brands like Sweetfin and Tupelo Honey, Twisted was recognized for disrupting the snack category with Twisted treats and a bold, bright brand design.
Twisted brought us in to help shape their new innovative brand. From early menu tastings to the first location opening, we were there to lend a twist to the new concept. We designed the interior graphics and screens, which are customized for each location. “The concept is bright, energetic, colorful, fun. We played off of that idea of ‘twist,’ so as you actually move through the space, the colors and experiences change with you,” is how Twisted CMO Kim Freer describes the space.
NRN says Twisted “meets consumers’ increasing demands for innovative, snack-type food that is also visually appealing. The coveted and highly digital Gen Z consumer is the target for the concept.” At Six Degrees, we’re bringing that to life on social, creating social content and giving the brand a voice that resonates with those target audiences. In just a few months, we’ve grown to 13K followers on Instagram and more than 5K on TikTok, with a new location and follower growth coming soon. We’re also using influencers to spread the word, and leveraging the built-in fan base at Wetzel’s to create demand for Twisted’s innovative brand experience.
