We know we’ve been gone for awhile, and we’re here to clear up the confusion. No, we haven’t given ourselves huge raises and headed off to a tropical paradise for good. Even though we deserve it. The truth is, we’ve embraced LA more than ever before. Six Degrees has been off the radar because we’re hard at work putting a handful of fresh, revamped brands back on it. With our signature creative (and unapologetic) approach, we’ve given these clients an attitude—and aesthetic—adjustment. With all this new exposure, it’s almost our way of embracing the scandalous California summer dress code. Almost.
Here’s what we’ve been up to:
Black Angus– This chain steakhouse started out flank-deep in coupons and tired promos. After taking (live)stock, their new outlook had them looking no further than our creative team. Embracing both their rowdy cowboy spirit and rancher passion, we re-imagined their roots and were able to boost sales and give customers the dining experience they were craving. Fresh graphics, spicy promos, and a new attitude gave this client a branding that set them apart from the herd.
Piadina– Since we live and breathe California culture, it was a no-brainer to help a native Italian and his wife turn their traditional sandwich into a West Coast winner. Here at Six Degrees we’ve been busy giving this shop a unique, organic look to match their all-natural flavors. The devil is in the design details, so to help fulfill their vision we’ve been overseeing everything from take-out packaging, to ingredient-friendly photo shoots, to endearing uniforms. Now open and fresh off the griddle, Piadina is charming the Tustin Marketplace.
The Garland– A hotel that transports visitors to another era? That requires a partner with experience in lifestyle marketing. The Garland location has been family owned since the 70’s, but we couldn’t wait to bring our new whimsical designs and nostalgic tone to this project. Extending the brand’s signature images, this idyllic inn now has advertising to match. Last month, we attended the Grand Re-Opening, and while we don’t usually condone “holding onto the past” when it comes time to re-brand, we’ll make an exception here! Opening soon: The Front Yard restaurant— an extension of the hotel’s laid-back, polished feel, featuring all of the new elements Six Degrees helped imagine. When this on-site LA cuisine is finally available, you can bet that it won’t just be the Six Degrees team feeling the vibes.
Crust– “More than just pizza, we deliver joy.” That’s the tag line we helped launch at this pie-joint, and it’s been delivering for them ever since. Emphasizing an elevated pizza experience in every box, their branding translates the vision from their successful Australian stores to the U.S market. As they expand to a new Woodland Hills location, we’re helping them re-invent the way Los Angeles tastes comfort food this summer.
So is it just us, or did these brands just get 6 Degrees hotter?
